I tried the traditional way but I have to admit I got a bit frustrated after a while. So I went down into the basement for a couple of decades and figured out how mouthpieces work. It turns out that there is a logical way to choose a mouthpiece for your horn. Remember how in Harry Potter, the magic wand fits the wizard – or not? That’s how a mouthpiece works! Either it fits the horn, or it doesn’t. But it isn’t magic, I’ll tell you how it works.
